HI from Washington State, USA------

i just wanted to say HI ---and to THANK YOU for your website----i have bought countless EA's and have lost tons of money---
and it looks like your website is GREAT PLACE for us to see and compare these EA's without all the commercials and backtests that basically
prove nothing.  i really enjoy your site----and thank you!
i really like FOREX but never seem to have enough time to manually trade or to learn more to do this trading with much success---so i have
spent the last 1 1/2 years looking at EA's trying to find even ONE that i could trust when i am out working----

your website here---will really help us find one or a few good ones!  the forward tests, and charts you are providing LIVE---are awesome!

THANKSSSSSSSSSSS

I have to say that I agree with Timothy's sentiments.  All this work is greatly appreciated and helps us Forex traders a ton!  Keep up the great work!!!
Thanks Guys - appreciate the feedback. We will continue to work to make it even more helpful
I just found your website and I think it's great. The robot test results are truly informative.

However I would like to clarify the following terms used on your result page: Equity, Balance, Return P.A, Annualised, Stirling Ratio.

Questions:
1. What is the difference between equity and balance?
2. Are Return P.A. and Annualized the same thing with one shown in percentage and the other in $ value? How do you calculate them? (ok, i finally found the definition of annualized on your page. However could you clarify if the Return P.A merely the percentage value of the annualized value?)
3. What is Stirling ratio and how is it calculated ? (ok, i finally found the definition on your page.)
4. Do all the robot test results shown start on the same day? If not, perhaps it's better to display the start date and the number of days it's been running so that viewers may interpret the results accordingly. (ok, I figure out they don't start on the same day, therefore I would suggest displaying the start date and number of days it's been running if this is possible as it will make the page much more user-friendly.)
5. If i'm selecting an EA, would you recommend that I select one that shows high Stirling Ratio and high annualized value?

Thanks and keep up the great work on the testing.
Answers to your questions:-

Questions:
1. What is the difference between equity and balance?

Equity is the difference between the account balance and the drawdown on the account.

2. Are Return P.A. and Annualized the same thing with one shown in percentage and the other in $ value? How do you calculate them? (ok, i finally found the definition of annualized on your page. However could you clarify if the Return P.A merely the percentage value of the annualized value?)

Return is now shown as net profit

4. Do the entire robot test results shown start on the same day? If not, perhaps it's better to display the start date and the number of days it's been running so that viewers may interpret the results accordingly. (ok, I figure out they don't start on the same day, therefore I would suggest displaying the start date and njavascript:void(0);umber of days it's been running if this is possible as it will make the page much more user-friendly.)

This information can be found in each statement but the trading days are built into the annualised return calculation so as  to neutralise trading days. I have tried to limit the amount of data in the table to make it easier to compare.

5. If i'm selecting an EA, would you recommend that I select one that shows high Stirling Ratio and high annualized value?

Yes – best look for an EA with a good risk reward ratio.
Thanks alot for your clarifications.
Have a great new year.
Hi,

I've been playing around for the last couple of years on demo accounts. Tried just about every strategy out there, and found a few that I like. However due to work and other interuptions I can't find time to trade manually on a consistent basis. So like many of you I decided to give robots a chance and see what happens...
